Art films and Entertainment films have always struggled to find their rightful audience in a sea of generalist programming. The rise of specialty channels injected new blood into such projects: today dance, music, and other visual art forms have dedicated channels, not only for televison but all digital platforms. In Arts and Entertainment, traditionally the Arts had to play second fiddle -- that is no longer the case.
