Synopsis
He just graduated from high school.  He has an around-the-world-ticket in his back pocket... and one whole year to spare.  South African child and teen actor, TV presenter and youth icon, Byron Taylor, roughs it up on an exciting new reality travel show; Travelling Unplugged.  For the first time, Byron travels all by himself - back-packer style - he is faced with the harsh realities of life; he experiences the awesome cultures of our world; emotional roller coasters and he takes part in some crazy adventures.

Travelling Unplugged was first screened at Sithengi Film and Television Market, Cape Town, South Africa in November 2006.

The series has been licensed in the Netherlands by VPRO .

Episode 1, 2 and 3 have also been licensed by South African Airways In-Flight.
