Synopsis
Three best friends, down on their luck in Los Angeles, decide to make a run at the PBA. Due to monetary constraints, best friends Ross and Mike aren't able to enjoy the typical LA nightlife of 14 dollar drinks at clubs and high-end hotel bars, but these aspiring actors always have enough money to go bowling and drink "domestic". As a way to support their means until they "make it" in acting, the boys work at Oscarz Pizza. Oscarz requires them to wear tuxedos and deliver pizza in an old limo. This place is serious about the Oscar theme, too bad the place sucks. Ross' girlfriend Lindsey is an aspiring veterinarian who supports Ross throughout his endeavors and vice versa. Upon the three getting fired on the same day, they decide to cash in on Ross' unique bowling talents that have been honed over the years of their struggles. Mike creates personas for Ross and Lindsey to bowl under, utilizing Ross' acting skills. The two become "Ross Vegas" (think Tiger Woods combined with Elvis Presley) and "Lil Reno" (think hottie combined with "super" hottie) and suddenly take the PBA by storm. Ross rules the lanes and becomes a national icon and the poster boy for a new breed of bowler. Fame and fortune drive the three apart, but in the end they realize the only thing that really matters is family, friends and above all, true love.
