Synopsis

Eye for an Eye captures the essence of justice and places emphasis on lesson-learning punishments. A non-traditional, no-nonsense, no-holds-barred spectacle of trial and punishment, the syndicated reality courtroom show breaks ground, and takes small claims court to places unseen. Eye for an Eye features the powerful and enigmatic Judge “Extreme Akim” who conveys unique scenarios unlike any other courtroom television program. “Extreme Akim” sentences his litigants to “paybacks” with signature punishment episodes. Akim, a former state prosecutor for South Carolina, appears alongside bailiff Sugar Ray Phillips (former middleweight boxing champion of the World). Eye for an Eye delivers a gavel crack unheard of in the canon of American courtroom television.

Eye for an Eye is a unique court television show in that it offers helpful legal advice to its litigants and audience members. Those involved in the court cases are allotted justice and revenge on those who wronged them. Because Eye for an Eye is a one-of-a-kind court television show, the number of viewers significantly increases from season to season.

Aired in a successful format, Eye for an Eye has delivered 3 thriving seasons. Eye for an Eye and other Atlas Worldwide programs are geared towards marketable demographics of persons between the ages of 18-49. The program performs well in all dayparts while also being highly successful in court television blocks.
