Synopsis
Ricky Sprocket is the world's biggest child movie star. He's famous and rich beyond belief, but at heart, he's just a regular kid. His boss, Mr. Fischburger, however, is more concerned with his huge career than such quaint trivialities as childhood.
Ricky's living a dream with everything a boy could want, but his parents still make him do his homework and take out the garbage. With Ricky, the crazy world of showbiz life is juxtaposed against everyday childhood issues such as family life, jealousy, peer pressure and passing grade five.
Aimed at 6 to 12 year olds, the series features sharp writing and exciting adventures.
Ricky Sprocket has broad appeal. Younger children will enjoy the quirky characters and Ricky's glamorous adventures, while older kids will also get the references and satirical side of the humor.
