Synopsis

With humour, poignancy and drama, The Family Dance takes viewers into the lives of women like Mercedez, who balances the quirky needs of a talented teen, with her job as a host of a webcast show, at the same time dealing with her mother-in-law’s cancer; and Nancy, a teacher involved in a bitter school strike, who juggles her parents’ health and living needs while ensuring her young daughter’s needs are not forgotten; and Angela, a brilliant sculptor whose work stops in order to confront the memories of 50 years’ worth of possessions in her father’s estate.
