Synopsis
Dr. Juan Asensio is a world-class trauma surgeon unlike any other. As a result of the gang-related death of his younger brother, Asensio, a professor of surgery at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, is on a personal crusade to stop senseless violence before it occurs. In addition to being privy to his surgical wizardry, we gain insight into Asensio's philosophy of life and death, his journey in becoming a surgeon as a Cuban-American, and his unwavering dedication to saving lives, even when, as he says, "They're trying to die."
