Synopsis
See the Vienne Jazz Festival kick off with kids and Jean-Jacques Milteau. In 2004 year the Festival organizers decided on a première dreamed up by blues harmonica virtuoso Jean-Jacques Milteau. The aim of "Odyssey of the Blues" was to provide every 6-11 year-old in Vienne's schools with a simple, fun introduction to the blues: its musical, technological and social evolution and its influence on other musical forms. For most of them this was their first concert and their first contact with the blues, and most of the musicians involved had never played to such a young audience. A unique situation – and a very special kind of excitement.
