Synopsis
With SARS cutting a swathe across the planet, the "vaccination trail" leads us back to past battles against infectious diseases and to those facing us now in a world ceaselessly on the move. The film focuses in large part on Mali, where we follow a medical team that has been fighting the vaccination fight for years. A fascinating journey among the nomads, and a fresh look at those great historical figures Louis Pasteur, Jonas Salk and Charles Mérieux.
