Synopsis
When the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande called on Vladimir Cosma – composer of the music for over 200 films – to write a new work accessible to the general public, the result was a rhythm-based piece illustrating a dozen of the fables of Jean de la Fontaine (1621-95). The narration is by Lambert Wilson, with each fable linked to a danse form from some point over the last five centuries, ranging from pavane to rock. Right, now danse! Is performed in the superb setting of the Victoria Hall
