Synopsis
The absolute classic windsurfing documentary. The show is set on the beautiful island of Namotu, which literally translates as 'magic island', The island is tiny, barely the size of a soccer pitch, surrounded by a flat coral reef which contains some of the most spectacular sea life to be found anywhere in the world. 32 of the worlds' top windsurfers have travelled to find the worlds' perfect sailing conditions, 6-metre waves crashing on a vicious reef. They are removed from the prying eyes of the world's media and hectic schedule of a normal contest environment, the location and setting of Namotu allows a unique behind the scenes view of the worlds top professional windsurfers, giving a unique insight into their loves, fears, and emotions. In the words of the one true windsurfing legend Robby Naish "There aren't many places like this in the world - they are worth the wait and worth the journey and when they happen, for sure, that's what windsurfing is all about".
