Synopsis
The Quest … The world's best trekked from four continents to Esperance in Western Australia for a contest that was rumoured to rival the legendary Fijian 'Namotu'. El Nino struck - The wind and wave gods had other plans. Inspired by the beauty and potential of what they had seen, twenty of the world's top windsurfers chose to begin a road trip or 'Quest' in search of wind and swell in harmony, creating the perfect windsurfing wave. The Quest includes the infamous ‘Margaret River Sessions’ and visits several ‘never ridden’ secret spots on the South Western cost of Australia. Featuring the world's leading windsurfers including Robby Naish, Josh Stone, Francisco Goya, Jason Polakow, Nik Baker, local rippers Pat Redman, Blair Simpson and our guide from the video, Scott McKercher. Tune in to find conditions firing and witness perfect, pitching, mast and a half high waves. Sailors were so stoked on the conditions that many of them sailed to sunset.
