Synopsis
PRINCESS MAYA & THE GREEN GEM

The peaceful kingdom of Roha has a great king. The king’s only daughter – PRINCESS MAYA – however, is quite a disaster. Owing to her constant mischief and tomboyish attitude, the people are quite fed up with her. All they want is a Prince who could someday become a king.
Princess Maya is really good at heart, but she is guilt-ridden because of an incident where her mother sacrificed her life to save her when she was just a 6-year old child. Believing herself to be the cause of the sorry incident, Maya is on the constant lookout of ways to prove she is as good and brave as a prince. However, all she manages to do is upset the king and the people of Roha alike.
The King of Roha has a trusted advisor – ZAKHIRA (a black magician). For years, Zakhira has waited to take over the kingdom of Roha. But, after causing the death of the Queen (Maya’s Mother), she hasn’t been that successful. But she has higher plans. She wants to possess the VIAL OF POWER – a bottle containing unlimited power over everything. The bottle is now inside the WORLD OF ETERNAL LIFE. If she can acquire the vial, she can end once and for all the peace in the world and become the master of everything. However, her dark servant is able to just bring the GREEN GEM – a gateway to the World of Eternal Life. Not willing to risk her own life, she sets up the King of Roha to go there and get the Vial.
She fakes an attack by her Dark Army on the city of Roha in such a way that everyone takes Maya responsible for the attack. She then informs the KING OF ROHA about the impending attack by a powerful Satanic Army. She suggests that the only way to defeat this Dark Army is to invoke the Green Gem, enter the World of Eternal Life and bring the Vial of Power. Worried about the safety of his kingdom, the king decides to go the following morning. Scolded by her father for disgracing him, Maya Maya decides to prove her innocence and her bravery in the same instant. She decides to save the kingdom by bringing the vial herself.
So Maya steals the gem and runs away into the World of Eternal Life, dragging AFFU (Zakhira’s dimwit son) and HANS (a shepherd & wanna-be-soldier) along. But she is unable to close the door they enter through. This plunges the world into the danger of destruction. The King of this world tells them that the only way she can get the Vial of Power is to bring TAN TROOM – a great ancient magician. Tan Troom is also the only one who can save the World of Eternal Life from doom. They have just 7 days to bring Tan Troom back as the King can hold the door closed for just that long. Maya and Hans accept the responsibility. JUNGLE (the son of the King of this world) goes off with the team to assist them in the objective. Maya, Hans, Affu and Jungle are teleported to a frightening place on a river shore – where Tan Troom resides along with some freaks and outcasts.
• TAN TROOM: A once-famous tantric who seems to be a crazy old man who has forgotten his powers.
• OYA: A genius pessimistic vulture and inventor.
• SUNDRI: A white female crow who so much wants to have a family.
• KIKU: The outcast baby crocodile with an undeveloped tail. He awaits a fairy who, he believes, can restore his tail, so he can go back to his family. (He comes to believe Maya as the fairy.)
Maya and her team try to steal Tan Troom, but are unsuccessful. Zakhira – unhappy seeing Maya alive – sends a huge Satanic Cobra to murder her. But Hans & Affu, with some cryptic help from Tan Troom, fight and kill the Cobra. Sensing that someone desperately wants to destroy them all, all of them make off towards the World of Eternal Life in Oya’s all-terrain ship. Not willing to help someone without a series of difficult tests, Tan Troom promises to help Maya, if she can defeat him in some way. But Maya doesn’t know how to fight.
As they journey back to the World of Eternal Life, the obstacles set by Zakhira test their survival skills, leading the team to gradually unite with a sense of purpose and togetherness none of them has ever felt. As they comfort and save one another from sure death, they find place in each others hearts and lives, forgetting the hardships that have come to them for being different from others of their kind. Tan Troom tests if Maya has really changed from a selfish brat to a selfless friend. She passes it. Tan Troom helps them save the World of Eternal Life.
Maya goes off to Roha alone with the Vial of Power – not willing to put her friends in danger again. She saves a few people by fighting Zakhira’s dark army alone, causing people to look at her with respect. Understanding the truth about Zakhira, she goes off to the palace where Zakhira is waiting to kill the King. A fierce fight ensues between Maya & Zakhira, where Maya learns that Zakhira was the one who killed the Queen. Hans joins, but the two are captured by Zakhira. Their friends come in the ship and rescue Hans & Maya. But Zakhira tricks them all again and is able to capture everyone except Maya and Hans. Holding Maya’s friends to ransom, Zakhira tries to extract the Vial of Power from Maya. But with the help of Hans, she destroys it with Tan Troom’s magic sword, getting fatally wounded in the process, but succeeds in saving her kingdom and her people. Maya finally becomes the PRINCE people wanted to have.

A totally hilarious & adventure filled story places “Princess Maya & the Green Gem” in the genre of fantasy cum adventure.
