Synopsis
“11” is the story of the journey of Teri Wilson and the Billingham Football Club. Teri is the daughter of David Wilson, millionaire businessman and Billingham F.C.’s owner, former manager and star player. Teri and her father shared a life-long love of football and Billingham F.C. in particular. Once the pride of the league, Billingham F.C. has fallen on very hard times in recent years and upon her father’s passing Teri has become the new owner and manager of a rundown team at the bottom of the third division. To make matters worse, Teri’s ownership of the club is conditional on it becoming a success. Should the club falter it shall fall into the hands of Teri’s evil twin brothers who are hell-bent on revenge having spent a lifetime suffering under their father’s favoritism towards her. It appears the twins have also managed to infiltrate the team and influence some of the players.

Teri has inherited a team of losers with no real chance of advancement into higher divisions or returning to the former glory of her father’s time. Teri’s challenges are many. She has to overcome her own self doubts, smash the stereotype that says women can’t succeed in football and above all, make Billingham F.C. winners again using any method regardless of how unorthodox, to achieve success.

Target market
“11” is intended for a teenage to adult audience between the ages of 12 – 45 years and ideally, with at least a passing interest in football (Soccer). Interestingly, early market research of the pilot episode has shown strong interest from non-football fans, and acceptance from viewers as young as 8 years. Of most interest across the viewing spectrum were the lead characters: Teri Wilson, Gangsta, Gorilla and Supadude.

“11” is available in 12min x 13 episodes for TV. Each episode is a separate adventure contained within an overall narrative.
