Synopsis
In this one-hour documentary, a man pursues the highest mountain in the world. In 1999, Dave Rodney realizes his dream by enduring significant hardship to summit Mount Everest. But victory twists suddenly into horror when a teammate and close friend goes missing, never to be seen again. This memory haunts him until 2001, when Rodney leaves the comfort of family and new-found love, daring to climb the mountain once more. Rodney strives to conquer the summit, to push himself to be the only Canadian to summit twice, and his ultimate quest - to return to base camp alive.
