Synopsis
Obeline, Rose, Rolande and Jacqueline look like any other elderly women. But these Alzheimer's patients are gradually losing their memories, independence and clarity. For two years, Pauline Voisard filmed their daily life in a welcoming adapted residence, where they are encouraged to stay active. Through these endearing women who have still kept their distinct personalities, this bittersweet documentary gets us to look differently at the victims of this frightening disease. Memory Adrift is a comic and poignant portrayal of these women.
