Synopsis

What do two kids do after their TV explodes? On this quite extraordinary day, they turn into kids again. They burst into laughter for no reason and become so light they float off to a wonderful desert island. But you can't channel-surf on an island, and once the wonder wears off, the young couch potatoes head home to end their day where they began: in front of the TV. Brimming with sly humour, Frédérick Tremblay's film is a zany fantasy in which billows of factory smoke are mistaken for fluffy clouds and tree stumps for a lush forest. Both in their high-rise home and on their island paradise, our two young couch potatoes play with words and images in a wacky world drawn in a falsely naive style.
