Synopsis
Set against the stunning backdrop of Canada's North, this is the exhilarating chronicle of one team of racers in the Yukon River Quest, the world's longest annual canoe and kayak race. The Paddlers Abreast team is made up of eight determined women who are all survivors of breast cancer. Candid and revealing, this beautifully realized documentary follows the women from the race's beginning in Whitehorse to the cheers that greet them 740 kilometres later in Dawson City.
