Synopsis
Oscar and Golden Globe nominee JULIETTE LEWIS stars as “Libby”, an ambitious New York lawyer who reluctantly takes on the pro-bono case of “Meena,” a young Afghan woman, seeking political asylum in America.
After barely escaping the unspeakable horrors of her Taliban controlled homeland, Meena arrives in the United States only to have her freedoms stripped away again.
