Synopsis
Watch Vir Saghvi grill famous celebrities on Cover Story.
No single individual personifies the metamorphosis of plain old journalism into media as much as Vir Sanghvi does. He is one of several editors with regular TV shows but none of them match the range of guests he serves up on Cover Story or manage to exude the same degree of relaxed buddy-buddyness with all comers, ranging from Neena Gupta to Ramesh Sippy to Malika Sherawat!
The show is serious but not necessarily heavy one-on-one with a celebrity guest. The tone is friendly but firm; less formal than an interview but more serious in its content than most chat shows.
The content varies somewhat from guest to guest but the idea is to use the informality of the chat to extract substantive and important information.
