Synopsis
Shararat is a fantasy sitcom about the 3 women in the Malhotra family blessed with supernatural powers.
Rani Devi was blessed with by a holy sage who granted her the boon of magical powers, which would be handed down to each daughter in the generations to come. The story revolves around Jia the great great great grand daughter to Rani Devi who on her 18th birthday unknowingly gets these magical powers.
Mr. Malhotra who learnt on his wedding night that his wife is a witch and he has to deal with a mother-in-law who not only insists that her daughter and grand daughter must practice magic but is forever visiting them.
Jia’s new found skills; the three women every now and then visiting Rani Devi in the nether world. Pranks, mishaps, actors turning into vegetables, and tons of bumbling jumbling mumbo jumbo make Shararat a truly magical comedy.
