Synopsis
Badagwell In Action
Directed and produced by Union H. Brothers Theater Of Portland.
In a satirical social comment on the "Lifestyles of Immigrants and the Corruption of the Church World ", the Union H. Brothers Theater Of Portland has created "Badagwell In Action". Badagwell has immigrated from a remote part of Haiti, "Patacoast Village". He was hoping to find his Godfather in the United States. In spite of all the confusion at the airport, Badagwell finds his way to his Godfather's house. Upon arriving he begins going to Church, and becomes a Bishops for the Church of the End of The World.He and the other Bishops proclaim: " We need money to do the work of God.Without money we cannot do anything.Therefore,if anyone wins at Power-Ball, he/she must pay 75% of that money to the Church.Otherwise he or she will die!
