Synopsis
When a 60-year-old once famous and used to fame and fans' adoration composer Evgeniy realizes that his time of triumph is well in the past, he sinks into depression. He is terrified thinking of rising young stars stealing pieces of his fame pie, yet is incapable of composing something unique and outstanding. He blames all his misfortunes on everyone except himself and especially on his wife Elena. In order to win back a capricious muse, Evgeniy decides to crucially change his life. He finds a new source of inspiration: a student of the conservatory where he lectures, a naïve 19-year-old muse Zhenya, who is head over heals in love with her teacher. The wife has to submit herself to living together with the love birds as Evgeniy cannot afford to provide her with a separate accommodation. Yet she is not the one to give up on her happiness and soon Evgeniy is faced with having to live side by side with a fourth inhabitant of the once quiet apartment, a 28-year-old handsome Vadim. Maestro's search of inspiration and attempts to harmonise his 'three-cornered' family will not only make you laugh but also think. Sometimes a man underestimates a woman who he lived half of his life with thinking that he knows her inside out. Well, pretty much in vain: there might be real surprises in stock for him!
